Welcome back to school!
We have had a busy few days, revising our understanding of Phase 3 Letters and Sounds. We will continue with new sounds next week as well as our weekly spelling tests.
In maths, we are learning how to recognise, sort, and count money in different currencies.  We have been looking at British, Thai, and Canadian money, as well as money from around the world.
We have also been measuring volume and weights, and using our understanding of these concepts to write some good sentences about comparisons.

In topics, we are STILL singing the Dinosaur Stomp!  We just can't get enough!
We will have our Dinosaur assembly next Friday at 2 pm in the Lily Theatre. We hope you can all attend!

Our new topic this half term is 'Seasonal Changes'. We have been learning about how the sun makes the seasons, day and night, and help us grow and change. We have read a gorgeous story called 'On the Day That You Were Born' and we will make some sun and season art next week.

Keep checking your child's folder for homework and guided reading books.
